Pershore

Pershore Volunteer Centre runs three schemes in the Pershore area:

1. Community Car Scheme

Volunteers use their own cars to provide door to door transport for journeys such as shopping, visiting friends, doctors or hospital appointments.

Eligibility for this service:

  • Limited mobility due to age or disability
  • Must live within Pershore and surrounding villages of Abberton, Besford, Birlingham, Bishampton, Bredicot, Bredon, Bredon’s norton, Bricklehampton, Drakes Broughton, Wadborough, Eckington, Elmley Castle, Fladbury, Flyford Flavel, Grafton Flyford, Great Comberton, Hill and Moor, Kempsey, Kington, Little Comberton, Naunton Beauchamp, Netherton, North Piddle, Peopleton, Pershore, Pinvin, Pirton, Spetchley, Stoulton, Strensham, Throckmorton, Upton Snodsbury, White Ladies Aston, Whittington, Wick, and Wyre Piddle.

2. Dial-a-Ride

A weekly service providing transport to the Co-operative supermarket for residents of Pershore and the villages immediately surrounding the town.

Eligibility:

  • Unable to use public transport
  • No public transport available

3. Minibus Hire

There are two accessible vehicles available for hire during the day, evenings and at weekends.

Eligibility:

  • Non profit making organisation.
