A Door-to-Door service is provided by most of the organisations featured on this website.

This must be pre-booked by individuals who become members of the organisation providing the transport.

The service provides individual members with local transport either using minibuses or cars (see Community Car Schemes) and can be used for a number of trip purposes.

Some schemes are called ‘Dial-a-Ride’ and they provide only this form of transport.

Contact your local scheme for details of your nearest service.

Volunteer as a car driver for your community.

All our drivers have undergone a Disclosure and Barring Service check, which was known as a CRB check until 2012.
